Our Story

VYBEZ® was founded to make trauma therapy more accessible for everyone, everywhere. Recognizing that many lacked access to trained EMDR therapists, our team of clinical and medical experts created a solution to bridge the gap. After years of research and development, we launched VYBEZ®—a revolutionary device that empowers therapists to deliver effective, remote EMDR therapy, helping clients heal in the comfort of their own space.

    Gerard Ilaria, is a licensed clinical social worker with 33+ yrs of experience treating trauma patients in both urban & rural settings. Drawing from his extensive clinical background & entrepreneurial drive, Gerard helped shape VYBEZ® into a solution that’s as effective as it is user-friendly.

  • DUSTIN SHRYOCK

    Dustin Shryock, MBA, is a Stern Business School graduate, entrepreneur, and former U.S. Army combat veteran. Co-founder of BLS Remote (now Vybez), he champions bi-lateral tactile stimulation for trauma recovery and wellness, bringing its transformative impact to both corporate sectors and individual therapy.

    Greg Mercado, Chief Technologist and Lead Engineer, is a Stevens Institute of Technology graduate with expertise at the intersection of technology and behavioral health. A founding team member of BLS Remote, Greg oversees the company’s technical innovations and drives its engineering efforts forward.

Chief of Public Health Programs, she specializes in trauma and addiction treatment using EMDR and bi-lateral stimulation, contributing clinical insights to diverse populations.

    Carol Juliet Weiss, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College and Associate Medical Director of the Center for Trauma and Addiction.
